Stefan Röhling
DDS, PD Dr. med. dent.
Stefan Roehling is an oral surgeon based in Munich, Germany, where he practices in a private specialist clinic. He is also an associate professor at the Clinic of Oral and Cranio-Maxillofacial Surgery at the University Hospital Basel and the Kantonsspital Aarau in Switzerland. Dr. Roehling graduated in Dentistry from Munich in 2009 and worked at the AO Research Institute in Davos, Switzerland, from 2007 to 2009. Since 2009, he has held a position at both the Clinic of Oral and Cranio-Maxillofacial Surgery and the Hightech Research Center for CMF Surgery at the University Hospital Basel. Between 2013 and 2014, he worked at the Department of Periodontics, University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, USA. In 2019, he earned his PhD from the University of Basel. Since 2006, Dr. Roehling has been actively involved in numerous experimental and clinical studies on zirconia implants. His scientific and lecture contributions have earned him several awards, including the André Schroeder Award in 2020.
