Dr Manuel De la Rosa-G completed his dental school at the University of Nuevo León in 1992. Afterwards he completed a Master Degree program in Periodontics and Implant Dentistry at the University of Texas in Houston. He then completed a Fellowship program in Implantology at the University of Texas in Houston in 1997. He work as adjunct professor for the University of Texas Dental School at Houston from 1995 to 1997. In 1998 he returned to Monterrey and open a private practice devoted exclusively to Periodontics and Implant Dentistry. He also started as Professor of Periodontics at the Periodontics Grad program of the University of Nuevo León.
He created his Continuing Education group DrMdelaRosa and started giving private courses in Periodontics and Implant Dentistry in Monterrey and internationally.
In 2010 he was invited to join the group “Dental XP” as a member, then as a adjust professor of Dr Maurice Salama courses in the anual meeting of Dental XP as well as in Brazil.
He has published several papers in different journals such as Journal of Clinical Periodontology, International Journal of Maxillofacial Implants, Quintessence International Journal, among others. He participated as a guest collaborator in the Book “Evidence Based Periodontal and Peri-Implant Plastic Surgery by Leandro Chambrone. He is a Fellow of the International College of Dentists.
He has been guest speaker in more than 30 countries worldwide.
