Christian Hammächer

Christian Hammächer graduated from the University of Aachen/Germany in 1997.

Following a two-year working experience in a private office, in 1999 he became assistant professor in the Department of Prosthodontics at the University of Aachen (Prof. Dr. Dr. H. Spiekermann), in 2006 senior physician. In 2002 Dr. Hammächer became board certified in prosthodontics (DGPro) and received the specialist qualification in implantology (BDIZ/DGI)

In 2007 he founded – together with Prof J.M. Stein – the Dental Center for Implantology, Periodontology and Prosthodontics in Aachen. Dr. Hammächer holds a lecturer position at the Department of Prosthodontics and Biomaterials at the University of Aachen and is the actual president of the German Association of Implantology (DGI). He is a national and international lecturer and docent in several postgraduate programs in the fields of implantology and periodontology. He published in these fields and is the author of the book “Implants and Dentures: A working script”.
