Call for Poster Abstracts – Oral Reconstruction Global Symposium 2026
The scientific committee invites the submission of poster abstracts for presentation at the Poster Competition during the Oral Reconstruction Global Symposium, Miami, USA from April 16 to 18, 2026. This is an opportunity to present your research in implantology and oral tissue reconstruction on an international platform, engage with leading experts in the field, and contribute to advancements in clinical and pre-clinical research.
Authors are requested to select a category under which they wish their abstract to be reviewed:
- Pre-clinical research
- Clinical research (surgical and/or prosthetic)
- Case report

Guidelines for Abstract Submission
(In order to standardize the abstract layout, we kindly ask you to read the guidelines carefully.)
How to Submit
- Abstracts must be submitted via email to education@orfoundation.org.
- Language: English (US spelling required).
- Only original, unpublished material will be accepted.
Abstract Formatting
- Title: Max. 250 characters (including spaces), clearly indicating the study’s focus.
- Abstract Length: Max. 2,500 characters (~300 words), excluding disclosures.
- Structure: Use the provided abstract template (Please download the abstract template here). Include max. 1 table & 2 figures.
- Abbreviations: Define at first use (except in the title).
Author Requirements
All accepted posters will receive free registration and must register and attend the symposium.
Conflict of Interest
Disclosure of potential conflict of interest (e.g. grant support, consultancy, membership on advisory councils, speaker’s bureau) by presenting author and source of funding are mandatory. (All disclosures should be listed if relevant to the abstract content and all others within the last year.)
Confirmation & Corrections
- After submission, authors will receive a confirmation email with the abstract reference number.
- Corrections can be made until November 30, 2025, 23:59 CET.

- Abstract Submission Deadline: November 30, 2025
- Notification of Acceptance: December 20, 2025
- Final Poster Submission Deadline: January 31, 2026
- Oral Presentation Notification: February 20, 2026
- Oral presentation: 09:00 Saturday April 18, 2026
E-Poster Requirements
- File Format: 1-page PDF file
- File Name: Surname and Name of the presenting author
- Orientation: Landscape layout 16:9 (e.g., prepare in Powerpoint, save as PDF)
- Pixel: 1920×1080
- Recommended font size: 32 points
Hyperlinks, animated images, animations and videos are not permitted.
QR codes may be included.
Oral Poster Pitch Competition
- Six finalists will be selected to present their posters orally during a dedicated session on Saturday, April 18, 2026.
- Finalist Notification: February 20, 2026
- Presentation Format: English (speech & slides)
- Presentation Time: 5 minutes presentation 3 minutes Q&A
- Main authors of the poster finalists for the oral presentation will receive free symposium registration, a participation certificate, four nights’ accommodation, and €1,000 toward their flight ticket.
Awards Ceremony
- The award ceremony will take place on Saturday, April 18 during the ORF 20 Years Anniversary Gala dinner
- All oral presenters receive certificates & free gala dinner.
- The top 3 pitches will receive: 1st place EUR 2’000.-, 2nd place EUR 1’000.-, 3rd place EUR 500.-.
